Insulation Services Winchester
Loft Insulation Specialists helps Winchester homeowners cut heating bills with professional loft insulation, boarding and spray-foam removal, tailored to the cathedral city’s unusually varied housing stock.
With thirty-seven conservation areas and some of the best Victorian homes south of London, much of the centre is solid-walled and pre-1920 — properties where the cavity can’t be filled, so the smart gain is at roof level, with around 35% of heat lost through an under-insulated loft. Here a deep top-up of Knauf Earthwool, or slimline Superfoil where headroom is tight, makes the biggest difference. The interwar red-brick semis on the Stanmore estate, built from 1920, often hide shallow or compressed insulation that’s well worth boosting, while the rare 1920s monolithic-concrete houses at Bar End and St Giles Hill are non-standard and always get a careful survey first.
Whatever the era of your home, we’ll arrange a free, no-obligation survey and follow it with a fixed written quote — just straightforward advice, no pressure.
