Because the insulation is bonded into the panel rather than laid loose on top, it will not slump, thin out or settle over the years.

We then secure and trim the frame, check the hatch sits flush and opens and closes cleanly, and finish the surround neatly. The old hatch, every offcut and all the packaging leave with us, so the only thing left behind on your landing is a tidy, draught-free opening.

The steady cold draught that drops from an old, unsealed hatch is gone, and one of the larger heat-loss paths through the ceiling is closed off.
